Animal lover, Sean McCormick, found a sick and dying Rottweiler in the streets of Taiwan that was little more than skin and bones, and obviously suffered from a terrible skin condition. Most people would have kept on walking but not Sean, instead he decided to take the emaciated dog home and get him some help. It is assumed that he was left to die by his owners and if not for Sean he most definitely would have. Who knows how long this poor dog was on his own. Luckily Sean refused to give up on him and helped him transform into the happy and healthy dog he is today!
This is Tiny after Sean found him abandoned on the streets of Taiwan.
Suffering from mange and so emaciated he was little more than skin and bones, it was impossible to tell what breed of dog Tiny was.
Sean’s best guess was that Tiny was some type of Mastiff.
However, as Tiny healed and his fur grew back with treatments it became obvious he was actually a beautiful Rottweiler!
Not only was he a beautiful dog on the outside, he had a beautiful personality as well and quickly became a favorite at the Sanctuary!
Dr. Yang at YangMing Veterinary Hospital in Taipei helped treat Tiny’s aggressive skin disease and depression. Tiny made such an amazing transformation that he was even crowned grand champion at the RSPCA’s dog show!
I admire anyone who is willing to help a seemingly hopeless animal. Tiny looked so terrible that most people would choose to humanely euthanize (or let him die in the streets without doing anything to help) instead of treating Tiny. As you can see, the treatments were very successful and hopefully Tiny will find a loving forever home!
